Years ago, I began to take a job in a small hospital‘s emergency
department. On Christmas Eve,
no one wanted to work. As the newest member of the group, the night
duty went to me. At 9 pm, the ambulance(

an old couple in the hall who wanted to speak with me. The man

gave me.‖ He and his wife hugged me, handed me a smal
l gift, and left.
I was more than a little surprised and touched.
