1. everyone = everybody
每人，不指具体哪个人，而是强调整体。作主语时，
一般与单数谓语动词连用。
如：Everyone is here 。每个人都在这。

3. 辨析：bring与take的区别：
1）bring 意思是“带来”‘是把东西带到说话人的方向或所在地。

5. Christmas is the most important festival of

The most importa
nt是形容词的最高级，最高级通常用于三个或者是三个以上人
或事物间的比较，表示“三者或者三者以
上最……的”。当形容词有两个以上音节
时，前面加most变为最高级。
如：She is
the most beautiful girl in the class.
6.冠词分为：
① 不定冠词用在单数可数名词前，表示某类人或物中的“一个”:
a用在以辅音音素（不是指辅音字母）开头的名词前面
an用在以元音音素（不是指元音字母）开头的名词前
如：a table, a
pencil, a big apple, an orange, an egg, an old
woman, an hour等。
②定冠词：the用在单数或复数名词前，表示某个或某些特定的人或物
1,指上文提到过的人或事物。I have a dog. The dog is white.
2, 特指某一具体的人或事物。 The cup on the desk is mine.
3, 表示一类人或物 。 the rich, the poor, the old
4, 用在乐器名词前。Play the piano
5, 用在世界独一无二的事物前，

6, 用在序数词,方位词前和形容词最高级前，the
first , the east, the tallest
③零冠词（不用定冠词)
（1）名词前已有作定语用的this, that, these, those, my,
your, his, her, our, their,
some等限定词时，不用冠词。如：this eraser, her pencil-box,
some boxes, those
women等。
（2）泛指的不可数名词前一般不用冠词。如：meat, rice, water, bread,
tea, milk,
juice等。
（3）复数名词表示泛指时，不用冠词。如：
the people in the room are doctors.
房间里的那些人是医生。
（4）在表示学科的名词前一般不用冠词。如：Chinese,
English, math, physics,
history等。在三餐饭和球类运动名词前一般不加冠词。如：have breakfast
lunch
supper, play basketball football等。
（5）在季节、节日、星期、月份前不用冠词。如：autumn, summer, winter,
spring,
Teachers’ day, Children’s day, Sunday,
February等。
（6）在表颜色、语种和国家名词前不用冠词。如：white,
brown, French, Australia
等。
（7）在表示称呼语的名词之前，以及职务、头衔的名词前不用冠词。如：Doctor
green is a scientist. 格林博士是位科学家。

Long ago, there was a king. He was lazy and
fat. He would not anything other
than eating
and sleeping. He spent days, weeks and months in
bed eating and sleeping.
His people weren’t
happy with the king. They were worried.
One
early morning, when the king woke up, he found
