《圣经故事与西方 文化》通过讲解《圣经》这部西方宗教经典中流传甚
广的故事，旨在培养学生具备基本的西方文化知识， 开阔学生视野，从
更深层次上理解和认识西方文化及其与中国文化的差异。在本课程中，
学生将 以兼容并包的思想批判性地解读《圣经》及相关的西方文化，养
成辩证思维的模式，突破对宗教原有的片 面、局限的认识。在实际教学
过程中，教师将结合相关的历史背景、文学、绘画、音乐、影视作品和课程简介
（
200
字左右）
评论，尽可能将不同的 维度展现给学生，注重培养学生的思辨能力，拓
宽学生思维并促进英语语言的学习。
二、教学目标及任务
本课程为面对全校学生的公选课，
向所有专业学生开放。
通过内容教学培养学生的
综合语言运用能力，
扩展学生的知识面 ，
提高学生的综合素质和多元文化意识，
从根本
上改变目前很多大学生知识面偏窄、综 合素质偏低的问题。
同时有意识地习得英语词
语和短语的起源和实际使用环境，最终 达到激发学习兴趣，增强实际运用能力的目标。
