Spring Festival, I have a
good time. First of all, I did so well in the

exam that makes my parents very happy.
They say that it’s their best gift

Year. And we come back our hometown to spend this
biggest
festival with other relatives. We had
a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve.
There were
about thirty people had the dinner together. It
was really great.
After dinner, we enjoyed the
Spring Festival Gala Evening. On the New
Year’s Day, we gathered together to play games
or cards. We children got
lucky money from
adults. This was the most exciting thing for us.
On the
following days, we visited to each
other, bringing our best

今年，我度过了一个快乐的春节。
首先，期末考试我考得很好，这让我的父母非常高兴，他们说这

Year MoodWhen the new year is coming,
everybody is so excited. The families get
together and have fun. For me, as
I was a
little kid, Spring Festival was my biggest day. On

could meet my parents, who
worked in the city and were far away from
me

enough for me to buy
many toys. But as I grew up, the new year was less
fun. I lived with my parents since I came to
middle school, what’s more, I
didn’t need
money to buy the toys anymore. I could get what I
want in the

reason. If I adjusted my desire, then new year

但是我长大以后，新年就不再那么有趣了。
