Mary was an English girl, but she lived in

Mother asks her son,

He put on
his best clothes, took a small bag, went to the
station and got
on the train. He had a

at the mountains. But the wind pulled his hat off.

Jones quickly took his old bag and
threw that out of the window too. The

people
in
the
carriage
laughed.

bag
going

bring

beautiful
hat
back
”
they asked.

No,
”
Mr. Jones answered,

but

s no name and no
address in my hat, and
there

s a name and address
on the bag. Someone

s going
to find both of them near each other,
and he

s going to send me
the bag and the
hat.
”
Not long after an old
Chinese woman came back to China from her visit to
her
daughter in the States, she went to
a city bank to deposit the US dollars her
daughter gave her. At the bank counter,
the clerk checked each note carefully to
see if the money was real. It made the
old lady out of patience.
At last she
could not hold any more, uttering.
