Nowadays, the Internet

important role
in our
life. We
can
use
it

kinds

purposes.
The
advantage

Internet
which
we

take of can be listed as

with

variety
of
news
and
information. It
keeps
us
informed of
the
news
from
home and abroad
conveniently
.
We
can
get
almost
all
kinds
of
information
needed.
Besides,
we
can
use
it
for
communication,. For
instance,
not only can
we
use
it to send
e-mail, but also
we can
call
others through Internet
if
we have not a telephone on
hand. Moreover, Internet
is
also a means of entertainment. For
instance, we can
enjoy
music, watch sport matches
and
play chess or cards
.
Last but not the
least,
there are so
many on-line schools and
on-line books on
the
Internet
packed
with
lots
of
information
that
we
can
read
them
without
even
leaving your home……
In a word, the Internet has made our
life more colorful and convenient as
well.

Nowadays,
many
Senior
school
students
are
participating
in

neighborhood’s
activities
by
taking
advantage
of
their
summer
vacations

weekends
or
holidays
to
devote themselves to
the

society

. Some
may think
it
is
good
for students to develop all
around, while
others
argue
that
it

waste of time,
insisting
that students
should
spend
more
time
on their study

my
point
of

I
am
quite

favor

this
phenomenon.
Just
take
my experience
for example
. Last summer, .I

a volunteer in

neighborhood.
I did
a
variety
of jobs
such as
looking
after the
sick ,the old and
the
young;
writing
wall
newspapers
;sorting
and
classifying
papers
and
sometimes
even helping to
deal with conflicts and quarrels between
neighbors.
I really
benefit a
lot
from
these experiences.
To
begin with,
I built up my personality
of such virtues as
unselfishness
,
the
sense
of
responsibility
as
well
as
the
sense
of
independence.
What

more
important
to
me
is that I
was
offered a chance to
improve
my ability to
handle
complicated problems properly.
As
mentioned above, such community
activity
definitely
has a
positive
effect on
us
students.
It
serves
as
a
bridge
for
students
to
keep
in
touch
with
society
,
thus
getting them better prepared
for
the future when they really enter
society
