is Three Good Friends.
One day, a monkey rides his bike near the river.
This time he sees a lion under a tree. The lion runs

falls
into
the
river.

can

t swim. He shouts. The rabbit hears him. He jumps into
the
river.
The
rabbit
swims
to
the
monkey,
but
he
can

t
help
him.
Luckily,
an
elephant
comes
along.
He
is
very
strong. He helps the rabbit and monkey. Three friends
are very happy. They go to the elephant

s home. Then,
three of them become good friends.
So we should help each other,and we are all good
friend.

一天，一只猴子在河边骑车。这时他看见树下有一只狮

注：对本次英语故事演讲活动的说明：
“培养卓越口
才”对学生是终身受用的。一个学生敢于讲话、敢于表达思
想，表明这个孩子有强烈的自信心。自信心对 于一个学生来
说，是安身立世之本。而人际间的沟通能力和表达能力恰恰
是我们教育里所缺乏的 。
新教育提倡把发言权还给我们的孩子，要通过开展一系
列 口才训练活动，让孩子去思考、去表达，利用好课堂环境
和外部环境，多角度对学生进行语言训练，达到 培养卓越口
才、打造自信人生之目的。
我们科信小学是双语实 验学校，培养双语口才是我们实
施新教育的课题之一，我们经常开展一些活动，如，英语口
语表 演、英语故事演讲、英语童话剧表演等培养孩子的卓越
口才。上面的故事是圣诞节期间，班级的英语故事 演讲比赛

paul
came
out
of

office, a street urchin was walking

shiny
new
car,
admiring this

christmas. the boy was astounded. you
mean

brother

of course paul knew what he was going to wish for.

那样的哥哥。但是小男孩接下来

口而出地说：你要不要坐我的车去兜风？

保罗微笑，他知道孩子想干什么。那男孩必定是要向邻
居炫耀，让大家知道他坐了一部
大轿车回家。但是这次保罗又猜错了。你能不能把车子
停在那两个台阶前 ？男孩要求道。
男孩跑上了阶梯，过了
一会儿保罗听到他回来了，但动作似乎有些 缓慢。原来把他

的弟弟带出来了，将他安置在第一个台阶上，紧紧地抱
着他，指着那辆新车。
只听那男孩告诉弟弟：你看，这就是我刚才在楼上对你
说的那辆新车。这是保罗他哥哥
送给他的哦！将来我也会送给你一辆像这样的车，到那
时候你就能自己去 看那些在圣诞节时，
