The


objective


of


this


test


procedure


is


to


detect


problems


with


adhesion


at


the


earliest


possible


stage


and


thereby


prevent


potentially


very


large


problem


showing


up


later in the coating process.

Block Stage


You


should


carry


out


the


test


after


completion


of


the


full


coating


system


,when


the


scheme


has


hardened


sufficiently. Two tests are required per block. One in an area


of good ventilation, for example on the edge of the block, and


one


in


an


area


where


ventilation


is


more


difficult


and


you


would expect little air movement.

You should not carry out the test on stripe coated areas,

the


tests after completion


of


the


full system on both upper and bottom areas, again choosing

to allow for repair of the area damaged by the test.
